§ 14-197. Minimum qualifying experience.
(a)
Every applicant for a master electrician license shall have passed a master electrical exam approved by electrical examiners board and shall have had at least four years' experience as a journeyman electrician in the electrical construction industry or shall be a graduate of a recognized electrical trade school with a four-year curriculum and shall have had at least two years as a journeyman electrician or shall have graduated after majoring in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university which has not less than a four-year curriculum and shall have had at least one year of practical experience.
(b)
Every applicant for a journeyman electrician license shall have passed a journeyman electrical exam approved by electrical examiners board and shall have had at least two years' experience in the electrical construction industry or shall be a graduate of a recognized electrical trade school with a four-year curriculum. Journeyman applicants shall provide a notarized certificate of experience.
